Tamilnadu new electricity bill cost calculation

1.Consider a user using units upto 100 units - Rs 1.00
  Followed by fixed charge of Rs.20.


  Ex: A user A is using 80 units his current charge will be Rs (20+80)=100


2. Consider a user using electricity units upto 200 units - Rs 1.50
   Followed by fixed charge Rs.20


   Ex :A using units upto 130=(130*1.50)+20


3.Consider a user using electricity units upto 500 units - Rs 2.00 for first 200 units and remaining units Rs.3.00 for users upto 500  units
   Followed by fixed charge Rs.30


   Ex:a user using 230 units then calculation will be 230= (200*2+30*3)+30


4.Consider a user using electricity units more than 500 units - then for first 200  units its will be Rs.3.00
   201 units to 500 units-Rs.4.00
   More than 500 units Rs 5.75
   Followed by fixed charge Rs.40
